来自OMG!UBUNTU消息,mk802III 已经可以安装ubuntu12.10了。大家又多了个玩具呀。
Ubuntu 12.10 has been ported to a £59 USB PC by a third party developer.
The modestly powerful hardware inside the RikimagicMK802 III, which ships with Android 4.0 by default, has proved tempting for hobby hackers and ARM developers alike.
The mini-PC sports:
[li]Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 @ 1.6Ghz[/li][li]Quad-core
Mali 400 GPU[/li][li]VPU (Video Processing Unit) supporting 1080p image and video decoding[/li][li]1GB DDR3 RAM[/li][li]4GB Flash Memory[/li][li]SD Card Slot[/li][li]HDMI, Micro SD, USB host & micro USB ports[/li]
The bad news is that there’s isn’t a download image available at this time. The developer, ‘AndrewDB’, is working towards getting an alpha build ready though. Also, Unity doesn’t run on the hardware yet so the XFCE desktop is being used instead.
But hey – everything has to start somewhere, right?
Imagine this stick running Ubuntu TV…
